Calvaro Z had a spectacular career, culminating in competeing with John Whitaker at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Other highlights include: National Dutch Champion, Silver Team Medal winner European Championships, 9th at WEG, GB Grand Prix winner in 1999 & 2000. 2nd in the Monterrey Grand Prix, 2nd Pulsar Crown and 2nd German Classics.
Calvaro Z has a reputation worldwide as a sire of exceptional jumpers and currently stands in France. Progeny sucesses include: in 2007 Katchina Mail ‘98 mare won the Grand Prix at the Horse of the Year Show, in 2004 in France she was 6 yr old Supreme Champion and double winner CRITERIUM event.
In 2005 3 horses were soldthrough PSI Auction, both out of a Continue dam line; Cawendo, who qualified for the world Championships for Young Horses and sold for E3555,000, and Canezzo, who sold for E170,000. Also in 2005 the stallion Chester Z was Bronze Medal winner at the World Championships for Young Horses.
In 2006 4 horses were sold through the PSI Acution: Calvinue (Continue) 2006 Gold medal winner of 5 year old Oldenburg Championships, Calvaro’s Konzert (Quick Star) qualified ‘06 Bundeschampionat, Catalin (Continue) and Lavaletta (Quick Star). Also in 2006 Callas Sitte Z was 4th at CSI **** German Classics.
